The AVRCE governs 43 schools under the vision of 'working together for students.' It strongly believes that all educational partners should be respected and that students should be the focus. Through innovative programming developed within the AVRCE, responsive student services, and efficient business practices, the AVRCE strives for continuous improvement in its ability to support student success and achievement.
Every year, the Annapolis Valley holds the annual Apple Blossom Festival. The Festival celebrates agriculture and heritage and includes barbeques, dances, homestyle-cooked meals, and the spectacular Apple Blossom parade and concert. It's all about bringing family and friends together to celebrate, and it proves to be fun for all.
As with all areas of Nova Scotia, people in the Annapolis Valley are known for their friendly nature and natural ability to make you feel at home. Don't be surprised if a stranger starts a conversation with you—the warmth of Nova Scotians shines through.
